The Implementation Agencies of the ADFLs

The ADFLs is designed and implemented by a consortium comprising the west Africa Network for Peace building (WANEP-Ghana) and two Departments of the University for Development Studies namely faculty of Communication and Media Studies, the UDS Library, Tamale and Accra Technical University Library.

WANEP-Ghana

Responsible for the following

  • Conflict assessment, reconciliation and peace building
  • Project quality standards

Projects monitoring and evaluation

The faculty of communication and media studies

The FCCS is responsible for the following

  • Research into the Damba festival and other festivals of the people of northern Ghana.
  • Research into development gaps and potentials in northern Ghana

The UDS-Library, Tamale/Accra Technical University Library Responsible for the following

  • Collate all researched documents for review and publication
  • Facilitate the editing of the reviewed researched documents
  • Digitize and preserve all researched document including audio-visual documents and artifacts.
